1. Production underwriting position opening in New York for Major International Carrier. Heavier in Production (not a desk UW position) - Commercial Casualty lines-Large Accounts from 500+ to Million(s). Book covers business classes including sales & distribution; manufacturing; financial & Information services; consulting; business & administrative services; retail and food services. MUST HAVE NY BROKER CONTACTS. Salary: up to $125K + bonus, Benefits are excellent along with incentive programs.

2. Regional Underwriting Manager Large Excess Workers Compensation Accounts – New York City location – Company requires developing and enhancing Agent/Broker relationships resulting in significant new business production and strong renewal retention. Must have heavy experience in National Accounts and Excess Workers Compensation experience with large deductibles and excess WC premium. 10-15 years experience, preferred degree in Business with major in Insurance, accounting, finance or marketing. CPCU or other designations a plus. Computer efficiency in MS Work, Outlook, and Excel. Must be willing to spend at least 40% of tome outside the office soliciting new business, building relationships and maintaining renewals. Local NYC market knowledge of Brokers. Salary $200K.

3. Commercial Underwriter opening in Glendale, California. Responsible for underwriting new business, review and process endorsement, inspections and recommendations; underwrite new business assigned in accordance with the company service standards; review and process all endorsements, including cancellations and reinstatements in accordance with the company service standards; review inspections and recommendations received by Loss Control; review policies for renewal in accordance with the company service standards; assist in the training of Associate Underwriter; identify and order annual premium audit for eligible accounts; act as liaison with other departments and producers; assist Underwriting Supervisor in identifying any issues pertaining to assigned producers. Minimum 3 years of experience as commercial underwriter and MUST be fluent bilingual person in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese). Salary $55k + excellent benefit package.

4. Senior Commercial Underwriter/Manager opening in Albany, NY. An A+ rated, regional insurance carrier seeks to add a Senior Underwriter / Supervisor to their office. Financially stable regional carrier with a strong presence in the Northeastern states. Write all lines of commercial insurance (property, casualty, excess, comp, specialty, etc) but specialize in Property and Liability policies. Responsibilities: Underwrite new and renewal accounts submitted by Marketing staff in the New York region; manage and maintain a profitable loss ratio on a book of business; direct management for a staff of 3 (Senior UW, Junior UW and a Rater); regular contact with agents and home office staff ; no production requirements. 5+ years of insurance experience, working knowledge of commercial products (preferably multi-line, property/casualty), supervisory or management experience in a professional environment, Strong communication, organization and time management skills. 5. Senior Casualty Underwriter opening in New York. Underwrite profitable Commercial Line business within assigned territory in accordance with Home Office and Field office goals. Will manage large accounts with casualty exposures within the Eastern Zone. Will participate in the production of domestic business as part of the company-wide initiative to develop Manufacturing and Reverse Flow opportunities in the East Zone and will utilize account management principles to maintain large risk relationships and perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include: Selects and underwrites the most complex Commercial Lines risks within delegated underwriting authority; applies appropriate pricing of techniques according to company filings and state/bureau conformance; monitors underwriting results, premium and loss trends within assigned book of business; establishes and executes insured and producer travel programs, independently or with Loss Control, Claims and Marketing Representatives; establishes and implements effective production plan with brokers in the East Zone to further develop and contribute to the manufacturing and reverse flow domestic strategy; coordinates customer service plan through effective communication with inter-company departments as well as producers, insured’s and Marketing Representatives; determines if reinsurance is need and procures quotes from various internal and external markets; develops and modifies policy wording (with appropriate approvals) when standard text is not appropriate; consults with representatives, insured’s, agents and brokers to obtain, submissions, leads, market intelligence; may assist Underwriting Manager in the training and development of departmental staff; may act as technical expert for certain lines of business. Must have New York Broker contacts. Salary up to $120k.

6. Underwriter opening in San Francisco. Assess and determine risk acceptability for new and renewal business within target and acceptable industries; high level of technical underwriting expertise using established underwriting guidelines, standards and regulatory requirements; maintain strong relationships with partner brokers adhering to marketing plans and strategies with each partner broker; participate in partner broker reviews by evaluating results, relationships, creating recommendations for growth strategies and taking advantage of new opportunities; manage underwriting in flow of business; analyze loss control reports, industry periodical’s, quantitative and qualitative data, using clear underwriting judgment to make appropriate decisions within authority; Minimum of 4 - 7 plus years experience, CPCU desirable. Salary % up to mid $70’s.

7. D&O Underwriting Manager opening in Oklahoma. Head up the FI Bond and D&O area for the company and report to the CUO. The position will pay to $120K + bonus.
